Outdoor Education and School Gardens is one-day NESA non registered professional learning program that will provide teachers with the knowledge and practical skills to create, maintain and use school gardens in a curriculum relevant way.
Participants will
Be involved in a varity of practical hands on activities to help teachers incorporate outdoor learning into the curriculum including:
- No dig gardening
- Composting
- Citizen Science
- Permaculture
- Insect hotels
- Plant propagation
- Bush tucker
- Geography skills in the schoolyard
- Curriculum links
