Primary programs

Observatory Hill EEC provides a range of curriculum linked educational programs. Students can participate in excursions around the inner city, or Centre teachers can come to your school to deliver incursion programs.

Please note, incursion council areas Bayside, Burwood, Canada Bay, Canterbury, City Of Sydney, Georges River, Hunters Hill, Inner West, Lane Cove, Mosman, North Sydney, Randwick, Sutherland, Waverley, Willoughby and Woollahra. 

All Centre programs include teacher’s notes, student work sheets (where appropriate), relevant teaching support materials, Risk Assessment Advice, and information on meeting dates, times, locations and costs for the school.

Program costs vary depending on the excursion being undertaken and the number of students participating.

End-of-year Picnics at the Coal Loader

Did you know that Observatory Hill EEC can organise end-of-year picnics at the Coal Loader Centre for Sustainability in Weeks 9 - 10 of Term 4?

Participating students will engage in unique, fun, hands-on, curriculum linked sustainability activities at the Coal Loader Centre for Sustainability, and enjoy a bush walk and ‘Stage’ picnic in adjacent Balls Head Reserve overlooking beautiful Sydney Harbour.
