Stage 2 - Community and Remembrance

Discover the history of The Rocks and its communities through engaging stories and activities. This program encourages students to develop historical inquiry skills while exploring sustainability and cultural heritage.

Stage 2 - First Contacts

Explore the first contacts between the Gadigal people and European colonists through immersive site visits. Students will discover Aboriginal culture and early colonial history at Dawes Point, Millers Point, and The Rocks.

Explore the natural environment and native wildlife of Australia through hands-on visits to The Coal Loader Sustainability Centre and Balls Head Reserve, while learning about the importance of sustainability and Aboriginal perspectives.

The Physical World at the Coal Loader engages students in hands-on learning about light, heat, electrical energy, and the use of forces in systems. The program emphasises sustainability and renewable energy to inspire positive environmental choices.
