This course coincides with meetings of Local environment networks who provide a forum for educators from schools, Local Government, community groups and other organisations to share resources, ideas and information. Membership is generally open to all teachers, with network organisers rotating responsibility for hosting an after school meeting once a term. Attendees of local networks can be accredited for one hour of non registered professional learning by enrolling in a MyPL session of the course Sustainability Network. using the course code NR09055. Accreditation provision may vary between networks.
